At the Canberra Development Clinic, their aim is to support and guide parents in the developmental journey of their children.

They Aim to help parents and guardians achieve the best development and mental health outcomes as they become adults. The methods to achieve that include medical treatment, diagnosis and advocacy.

Canberra Development Clinic work in liaison with other allied health professionals, psychologists and schools across Canberra to provide a holistic management for your child’s Difficulties.

Dr Manina Pathak is the Director of Canberra Development Clinic. Manina is a specialist developmental-behavioural paediatrician with extensive experience in managing complex neuro-behavioural and developmental issues of children and adolescents. Dr Pathak completed her paediatric specialist training at The Canberra Hospital (TCH) and Women’s and Children’s Hospital Network(WCHN) in Adelaide. She is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, member of the RACP Chapter of Community Child Health, Neurodevelopmental and Behavioural Paediatrician Society of Australasia (NBPSA) Society of Developmental & behavioural Paediatrics (SDBP). She completed a Master of Public Health from the University of Newcastle.

Dr Pathak has over 10 year’s experience in Paediatrics. She has worked at the multi-disciplinary assessment team at Child development unit. Manina has also worked with Early childhood intervention teams and Mental health services for children and adolescents. She got accreditation as Autism diagnostician through Autism SA. After finishing her clinical training, Dr Pathak worked as a clinical research associate at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) for one year.

She has experience in assessing and managing children and adolescents with ADHD, Autism spectrum disorder, other behavioural and emotional disorders, mood disorders and learning difficulties and disorders.
