Jacinta Grima is a clinical psychologist with over sixteen years of experience working across the lifespan, with a speciality in child and adolescent populations and neurodiversity. Having worked across rural, regional and metropolitan areas she now provides telehealth services to children/adolescents and adults. A big believer in comprehensive biopsychosocial care, she integrates evidence-based therapies to suit the needs of the individual and/or family. Jacinta has an active professional supervision practice and has previously held academic appointments with Western Sydney University, including teaching at the psychology clinic. She is a member of Australian ADHD Professionals Association (ADDPA), APS, ACPA, and an Associate Member of the Australasian Menopause Society. Jacinta has presented nationally and internationally on topics such as the role of hormones on ADHD symptoms and the importance of collaborative interdisciplinary care during the perimenopause and menopause. Jacinta conducts assessments for ADHD and co-occurring conditions, such as anxiety. She provides psychological interventions that include understanding what ADHD is, devising strategies to support executive functioning challenges in a practical way and working with individual strengths. Jacinta will collaborate with education and other health providers as she values the importance of working with broader systems to enhance client outcomes.
