ADHD MEDICATION CLINIC @ The Village Medical Practice
Dr Aline Smith is authorised by NSW Health to prescribe ADHD medications for children (6+) and adults who already have an ADHD diagnosis from a paediatrician or psychiatrist. This clinic does not currently provide diagnoses and is only for patients already stabilised on medication, as an alternative to specialist follow-up.
Dr Smith is an AADPA member and follows the Australian Evidence-Based Clinical Guideline For ADHD, prioritising quality of life and daily functioning.- Private billing, held bi-monthly on Saturdays- Face-to-face appointments only
Appointments:· Existing patients: 15 -30 minutes for repeat scripts- Patients current to practice but new to Dr Smith : 30 minutes- New practice patients: 30–45 minutes (including history, exam, and regulatory registration)
Note: Medication may not be prescribed at first visit; a follow-up might be needed. No diagnostic assessments are currently available due to NSW Health regulations.
