The Kooky Clinic is thrilled to announce that we are changing our model of care to address the specialist bottleneck and improve access to medical treatment for those who are unable to get into a child psychiatrist or paediatrician. We've recruited a fantastic group of experienced medical doctors with a passion for mental health and neurodevelopmental conditions, to assess and treat all mental health and developmental concerns in those under 20 years old. Many of these doctors have lived experience of neurodiversity, have undergone additional training, and will be under the direct supervision of our Child Psychiatrist Dr Shannon Morton for all of their cases, which will allow them to deliver best practice diagnosis and treatment, including medication. They will be able to support families with all problems, however we are developing a special program for ADHD with the Hype! ADHD Centre, taking bookings now for early December.
